PackProfit is a Chrome extension that helps Steam users compare booster pack market values, gem costs, and estimated profit on Steam's Booster Pack Creator page.

Data PackProfit Handles

PackProfit runs only on Steam's Booster Pack Creator page. The extension reads Steam-provided page content, Steam inventory metadata, and Steam Community Market information so it can calculate and display booster pack profitability.

PackProfit stores a display preference using Chrome sync storage and may cache market values locally in the browser. These values are used only to provide the extension's functionality.

Quick-Sell Actions

If the user explicitly confirms a quick-sell action, PackProfit submits the selected owned booster pack listing to Steam's Community Market using Steam's own endpoints. PackProfit does not buy items or create market listings automatically.

Data Sharing

PackProfit does not operate a server, does not include analytics, does not sell user data, and does not transfer user data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

PackProfit interacts with Steam pages and Steam Community Market endpoints to provide its functionality. Steam's own terms and privacy practices apply to Steam services.
